Faith
The Faith Workbook
Insource your soul.
Fourteen days to stop renting your faith from a podcast and start building an altar in your own house.
The Lie
"I'll catch the sermon online when I get a chance."
The Truth
I lead worship at my own table.
Who this is for
For the man who believes — but hasn't been the spiritual head of his home in years, and knows it.
You still believe. That was never the problem. The problem is that somewhere between the promotion and the third kid, belief quietly became something you consume instead of something you lead.
A podcast on the drive. A worship playlist in the gym. A church service you attend the way you attend a conference. Fed, informed, and still not the spiritual head of your own house.
What it's costing you
- Your kids are learning what a man believes by watching what a man does on a Tuesday — and right now Tuesday is silent.
- Your wife has been carrying the spiritual weight of the home alone, and she stopped asking you to help somewhere around year four.
- You have no older man in your life. When the hard thing comes — and it comes — you will Google it instead of calling someone.
Why this one works
It starts with an audit, not a sermon
Twelve yes/no questions in black ink. No shame, no altar call — just an honest picture of exactly where your faith got handed off and to whom.
Every day has one move, not a curriculum
Fourteen days of Scripture, prayer, and a single anchor move built for a tired working man. Ten minutes, not an hour. Consistency beats intensity every time.
It ends with a plan you can keep
A re-audit to see the movement, a 30-day plan to hold it, and the family altar and mentor scripts you'll still be using next year.
What you'll be able to do in 14 days
- ✓Lead one prayer at your own table this week without it feeling forced
- ✓Open the Bible 14 days in a row with a plan that fits a working man
- ✓Have one older man in your life you can call when it gets hard
- ✓Walk into Sunday already led — instead of waiting to be fed

The Outsourced Soul
You did not walk away from God. That is not what happened. What happened is quieter than that, and worse in a way, because it never required a decision.
You got busy. The church took over the teaching. A podcast took over the thinking. A worship playlist took over the singing. Your wife took over the praying, because she was better at it, and because it was easier to let her. Somewhere in there you stopped being a man who has a faith and became a man who consumes one.
That is what outsourcing looks like. It never feels like rebellion. It feels like delegation. And delegation works fine for your calendar and your lawn and your taxes. It does not work for your soul, because the thing you delegate, you stop being able to do.

The Audit
Where it actually stands
Answer yes or no. Do not soften anything. Count one point for every yes. The number is not a verdict on you as a man; it is a map of where the work is.
My wife prays out loud in our home more often than I do.
I could not tell you the last passage of Scripture I read on my own, without a podcast or a plan reading it to me.
My children have never heard me pray for them by name.
My spiritual input is almost entirely audio — sermons, podcasts, worship — and almost nothing written or read.
The Audit
Day 1
Say it out loud
The first thing a man loses is his voice. Not his belief — his voice. He still believes; he just has not said any of it out loud in years, and belief that is never spoken slowly becomes belief that is never tested, and belief that is never tested becomes an opinion.
So we start here, before Scripture, before habit, before anyone else is involved. You are going to say what you actually believe, out loud, alone, in a room with the door closed. Not the version you would say at church. The version that is true at 2 a.m.

The Outsourced Soul Audit
Twelve yes/no questions that show you — in black ink — exactly where you handed your faith off, and to whom.

Day 3 — The Family Altar
A scripted 4-minute table prayer. Read it word for word the first time. By day seven you won't need the page.

Find Your Older Man
A one-page outreach script — text, coffee, the one question to ask, and how to keep the relationship alive after month one.
First 6 pages, no email required — read it offline before you buy.
What you're probably thinking
"I'm not a theology guy."
Good. This isn't a study. It's a set of daily practices with the words already written for you the first time through.
"My wife is further along than I am."
Then start anyway and let her see it. This workbook is designed to be led badly at first and steadily after that.
"I don't have an hour a day."
You don't need one. The daily work is built around ten honest minutes and one move you can make before you leave the house.
Fourteen days from now you will either be a man who leads one prayer at his own table, or a man who meant to. That's the whole decision.
